Mae diwydiant cig coch Cymru yn gobeithio y bydd y sefyllfa gadarnhaol a gynhyrchwyd gan dueddiadau’r cyflenwad a’r galw presennol yn y diwydiant yn ymestyn i dymor hollbwysig yr \u0175yl.<\/p>\n

“Mae’r arwyddion yno: mae’n dal yn gynnar wrth gwrs, ond gallwn fod \u00e2 rhywfaint o optimistiaeth am Nadolig da arall ar gyfer cig coch o safon,” rhesymodd Glesni Phillips, Swyddog Gweithredol Deallusrwydd a Dadansoddi Busnes Hybu Cig Cymru (HCC). “Mae gwerthiant cyfaint cig oen am y flwyddyn hyd yma i fyny bedwar y cant ar y flwyddyn, sy’n gadarnhaol iawn i’r sector – ac yn cymell gobeithion o gyfnod y Nadolig da ar gyfer cig coch Cymru,” meddai Glesni.<\/p>\n

Gellir gweld dehongliadau Glesni o’r farchnad a’i rhagolygon yn fanwl yn nogfen Bwletin y Farchnad <\/em>Hybu Cig Cymru, sydd ar gael ar-lein.<\/p>\n

Wrth edrych ar draws y farchnad yn fanwl, adroddodd Glesni: “Mae’r cyflenwad yn parhau i fod i lawr.<\/p>\n

Mae data Defra ar gyfer trwybwn defaid ar gyfer hyd at fis Medi 2024 yn dangos gostyngiad o naw y cant o’i gymharu \u00e2’r llynedd, gyda chyfanswm o 9.3 miliwn o ddefaid yn cael eu prosesu. Mae niferoedd \u0175yn a defaid llawn dwf yn cyfrannu at y gostyngiad hwn.<\/p>\n

Mae trwybwn cig oen i lawr wyth y cant, er gwaethaf ychydig o uchafbwyntiau ym mis Ionawr a mis Chwefror. Oherwydd amcangyfrif o gnwd cig oen llai eleni, roedd disgwyl cyflenwad tynnach, ond mae’r niferoedd presennol yn is na’r disgwyl hyd yn oed.\u201d<\/p>\n

Dywedodd nad yw lefelau trwybwn misol wedi rhagori ar y marc miliwn pen yn ystod unrhyw un o naw mis cyntaf 2024, gan awgrymu bod \u0175yn tymor newydd wedi bod yn araf i ddod ymlaen. “Mae lladd-dai’r DU wedi prosesu 4.48 miliwn o \u0175yn o’r cnwd cig oen presennol hyd yma – gostyngiad sylweddol o 9 y cant o lefelau blwyddyn yn gynharach.”<\/p>\n

Mae tynhau\u2019r cyflenwad hwn wedi helpu i gynnal lefelau prisiau. \u201cMae pris cyfartaledd pwysau marw cig oen dethol Prydain yn parhau i fod yn llawer uwch na’r marc \u00a36\/kilo, er gwaethaf saith wythnos yn olynol o symudiadau prisiau i lawr,\u201d meddai. \u201cMae’r cyfartaledd diweddaraf tua 8 y cant yn uwch na’r lefelau blwyddyn ynghynt, sef 618.5c\/kg.”<\/p>\n

Mae data defnyddwyr Kantar ar gyfer y cyfnod o 12 wythnos sy’n dod i ben 29 Medi yn dangos bod gwerthiant cyfaint cig oen yn parhau’n sefydlog, i fyny o 0.5 y cant y flwyddyn, wedi’i sbarduno gan gynnydd o 5 y cant yn y siopwyr presennol yn prynu mwy. Cododd chwyddiant prisiau groser ychydig, er ei fod yn is na’i uchafbwynt, i ddau y cant yn y cyfnod chwarterol hwn ond nid oedd yn ymddangos fod hwn yn effeithio ar benderfyniad siopwyr i brynu eu hoff ddarnau cig coch.<\/p>\n
