Byddant hefyd yn helpu busnesau ffermio i addasu i heriau newid hinsawdd, ac wrth wneud hynny, yn helpu\u2019r diwydiant i weithio tuag at dargedau sero net.<\/p>\n<p>Mae\u2019r prosiect &#8211; o\u2019r enw Rhaglen Defnydd Tir ar gyfer Sero Net Natur a Phobl (LUNZ) &#8211; yn chwilio am ffermwyr o Gymru sydd wedi bod yn ffermio mewn ffyrdd sy\u2019n gweithio gyda natur i gynhyrchu bwyd. Mae\u2019r dulliau yma\u2019n tueddu bod yn rhai sy\u2019n lleihau mewnbynnau heb fod yn organig ac yn annog amrywiaeth ar draws y fferm ac o fewn caeau. Mae\u2019r dulliau yn cynnwys y defnydd o godlysiau, lleihad mewn gwrtaith a chwynladdwyr, pori cylchdro, bioamrywiaeth a chreu cynefinoedd. Ochr yn ochr \u00e2\u2019r rhwydwaith o ffermydd masnachol ar draws Cymru a\u2019r DU, bydd ymchwil gwyddonol mewn sawl prifysgol yn archwilio dulliau newydd a\u2019u heffeithiau.<\/p>\n<p>Fel rhan o ddulliau holistaidd o asesu busnesau ffermio yn gynaliadwy, bydd ffermwyr yn cwblhau dull o asesu o\u2019r enw Global Farm Metric (GFM) gyda chymorth ymchwilydd. Rhennir y canlyniadau gyda\u2019r ffermwr a\u2019u defnyddio ar gyfer gwneud newidiadau ar y fferm. Bydd ffermwyr hefyd yn elwa o archwiliadau bioamrywiaeth, ac yn samplu rhai o\u2019u caeau i ddadansoddi\u2019r pridd, llystyfiant a charbon.<\/p>\n<p>Mae Dr Heather McCalman, Swyddog Gweithredol Ymchwil a Datblygu a Chynaliadwyedd HCC, yn gyfrifol am gydlynu elfennau ffermydd cig eidion a defaid o Gymru o fewn y prosiect. Meddai:<\/p>\n<div class=\"wysiwyg__quote\">\n<p>\u201cRydym ni\u2019n annog ffermwyr dros Gymru i fod yn rhan o raglen glaswelltiroedd LUNZ. Ei nod yw arddangos manteision amgylcheddol a chymdeithasol ehangach o systemau cig eidion a defaid yng Nghymru sy\u2019n seiliedig ar laswelltir ond bydd busnesau unigol hefyd yn manteisio. Bydd yn darparu tystiolaeth o sut y gall arferion rheoli glaswelltir helpu i gynnal proffidioldeb ffermydd, lleihau nwyon t\u0177 gwydr a gwella bioamrywiaeth ac iechyd y pridd. Mae\u2019n gyfle gwych i gael mesur \u00f4l-troed carbon a GFM yn rhad ac am ddim. Ond wrth ddefnyddio ymchwil a chasglu data o astudiaethau achos yng Nghymru &#8211; ynghyd ag eraill ar draws y DU &#8211; bydd y prosiect yma\u2019n mynd i\u2019r afael \u00e2 strategaethau glaswelltir effeithlon, ymarferol a fforddiadwy i leihau allyriadau a chynyddu atafaeliad carbon, tra\u2019n cynnal cynhyrchiant.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Mae Glaswelltiroedd LUNZ yn un o bum prosiect ymchwil a ariennir i fynd i\u2019r afael \u00e2\u2019r her o allyriadau sero net yn y DU erbyn 2050.
