Mae data newydd yn dangos bod ffermwyr yn dechrau arbed arian drwy leihau’r bylchau lloia – ond mae’r ystadegau hefyd yn dangos bod cryn gyfle o hyd i fod yn fwy proffidiol.<\/p>\n

Y bwlch lloia cyfartalog ar gyfer buchod cig eidion yng Nghymru oedd 420 diwrnod yn 2024, yn \u00f4l data diweddaraf Gwasanaeth Symud Gwartheg Prydain (BCMS), sy\u2019n ymddangos yn rhifyn y mis hwn o Bwletin y Farchnad<\/em> gan Hybu Cig Cymru (HCC).<\/p>\n

\u201cMae hyn yn gymharol sefydlog o\u2019i gymharu \u00e2\u2019r bwlch cyfartalog yn ystod y flwyddyn flaenorol, ac, o edrych ar dueddiadau hanesyddol, mae oddeutu 12 diwrnod yn fyrrach nag yn 2014,\u201d meddai Glesni Phillips, Swyddog Gweithredol Gwybodaeth am y Farchnad, Dadansoddiad a Mewnwelediad Busnes HCC. Fodd bynnag, er gwaethaf y cynnydd a welwyd dros y degawd diwethaf, mae lle i wella o hyd er mwyn cyrraedd targed y diwydiant o 365 diwrnod rhwng lloia.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cMae atgenhedlu effeithlon yn hanfodol er mwyn bod yn broffidiol oherwydd mae\u2019n cynyddu nifer y lloi sy\u2019n bosibl yn ystod oes y fuwch, waeth beth fo\u2019r system gynhyrchu, a gall gwella effeithlonrwydd gyfrannu at ostyngiad yn lefelau allyriadau nwyon t\u0177 gwydr y fuches, yn ogystal \u00e2 gwella elw\u2019r busnes,\u201d esboniodd.<\/em><\/p>\n

Dywed Bwletin y Farchnad<\/em> y gall yr oedran cyfartalog adeg y lloia cyntaf hefyd effeithio ar effeithlonrwydd atgenhedlu\u2019r fuches sugno gan mai\u2019r llo yw prif allbwn y fenter. Yn 2024, oedran cyfartalog y buchod cig eidion yng Nghymru adeg y lloia cyntaf oedd 964 diwrnod (neu 31.7 mis). Mae hyn yn welliant ar y flwyddyn, gan fod y fuwch gyfartalog bellach yn lloia 11 diwrnod yn iau nag yn 2023 a chymaint \u00e2 98 diwrnod yn iau nag yn 2014.<\/p>\n

\u201cEr bod rhywfaint o le i wella o hyd er mwyn cyrraedd targed y diwydiant o loia yn nes at 24 mis (neu 730 diwrnod), mae buchesi cig eidion yng Nghymru wedi dangos cynnydd sylweddol yn ystod y degawd diwethaf,\u201d meddai Glesni.\u00a0 Mae angen gwneud mwy, fodd bynnag, oherwydd gall rheoli heffrod yn effeithiol fel eu bod yn lloia yn iau gynyddu elw a lleihau costau cynhyrchu, gyda thystiolaeth yn awgrymu y byddai heffrod yn magu lloi trymach dros gyfnod eu hoes gynhyrchiol.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
