{"id":5465,"date":"2025-08-07T14:10:14","date_gmt":"2025-08-07T14:10:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/meatpromotion.wales\/?p=5465"},"modified":"2025-08-12T16:05:41","modified_gmt":"2025-08-12T16:05:41","slug":"cyhoeddi-aelodau-newydd-cig-weithio","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/meatpromotion.wales\/cy\/newsroom\/cyhoeddi-aelodau-newydd-cig-weithio\/","title":{"rendered":"Cyhoeddi aelodau newydd Cig-weithio"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Mae wyth ymgeisydd llwyddiannus wedi\u2019u dewis fel aelodau cynllun Cig-weithio Hybu Cig Cymru (HCC) ar gyfer 2025-2026.<\/p>\n<p>Gan gyfarfod am y tro cyntaf yn Sioe Frenhinol Cymru yr wythnos ddiwethaf<em>, <\/em>dyma ail griw&#8217;r rhaglen sydd \u00e2\u2019r nod o gysylltu unigolion ifanc sy\u2019n gweithio ar draws y gadwyn gyflenwi cig coch.<\/p>\n<p>Yr aelodau yw:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ben Roberts, Wrecsam \u2013 cigydd a pherchennog Astley &amp; Stratton<\/li>\n<li>Bethany Rogers, Llanfair ym Muallt \u2013 caffael cig oen i gwmni Pilgrims<\/li>\n<li>Emma Williams, Ynys M\u00f4n &#8211; ffermwr a manwerthu o\u2019r fferm<\/li>\n<li>Erin McNaught, Y Bala \u2013 ffermwr a llefarydd ar amaethyddiaeth<\/li>\n<li>Lynfa Jones, Y Trallwng \u2013 ysgrifennydd Cymdeithas Gwartheg Duon Cymru<\/li>\n<li>Rachel Jones, Y Drenewydd \u2013 darlithydd mewn Amaethyddiaeth yng Ngholeg y Drenewydd \u2013 Gr\u0175p NPTC<\/li>\n<li>Richard Watkins, Malvern \u2013 caffael cig eidion i gwmni Kepak<\/li>\n<li>Thomas Davies, Aberaeron \u2013 masnachwr amaethyddol i gwmni Wynnstay<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Datblygwyd y rhaglen yma i unigolion rhwng 21-35 mlwydd oed. Mae\u2019n cynnwys pum sesiwn gyda thema wahanol sy\u2019n gyfle i\u2019r gr\u0175p ddod ynghyd i ddatblygu eu gwybodaeth a\u2019u dealltwriaeth o rannau gwahanol o\u2019r gadwyn gyflenwi, yn amrywio o ddulliau amaethu ac iechyd anifeiliaid, i ansawdd bwyta a thueddiadau defnyddwyr.<\/p>\n<p>Bydd pob aelod yn cael mentor o\u2019r diwydiant a bydd disgwyl iddynt dreulio diwrnod gyda\u2019r mentor yn y gweithle. Yn ogystal, bydd y gr\u0175p yn cydweithio ar brosiect ymchwil a bydd y canlyniadau\u2019n cael eu bwydo yn \u00f4l i\u2019r diwydiant.<\/p>\n<p>Meddai Uwch Swyddog Cynhyrchu a Phrosesu HCC, Lowri Thomas: \u201cLlwyddodd y cynllun Cig-weithio i gysylltu unigolion ac ysgogi trafodaeth ymysg aelodau o\u2019r gadwyn gyflenwi yn y flwyddyn gyntaf. Byddwn yn adeiladu ar lwyddiant y flwyddyn gyntaf i ddatblygu rhaglen bwrpasol i\u2019r gr\u0175p newydd, gan ddatblygu eu dealltwriaeth o gynhyrchu cig coch o\u2019r fferm i\u2019r fforc.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCawsom ein plesio gan yr ymgeiswyr a\u2019u profiadau amrywiol o\u2019r diwydiant cig coch. Edrychwn ymlaen at weithio gyda chriw deinamig o bobl sy\u2019n cynnwys cynrychiolwyr o fanwerthwyr, proseswyr a chwmni masnachu amaethyddol, ffermwyr a mwy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Er na fagwyd Thomas Davies ar fferm, mae\u2019r diddordeb mewn amaethyddiaeth a chynhyrchu cig coch wedi bod yno erioed. Meddai: \u201cMae fy nghefndir mewn ffermio; roeddwn i\u2019n arfer helpu mam-gu a tad-cu ar eu fferm nhw o oedran ifanc. Yn dilyn hynny, es i i astudio amaethyddiaeth ar gyfer fy ngradd a gradd meistr. Nawr, rwy\u2019n awyddus i ddysgu mwy gan aelodau eraill Cig-weithio ac ehangu fy mhrofiad o fewn y sector cig coch.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Roedd gan Ben Roberts hefyd ddiddordeb yn y sector cig coch o oedran ifanc a dechreuodd hynny pan oedd yn un ar ddeg mlwydd oed pan arferai helpu mewn siop cigydd. \u201cO helpu yn siop tad fy ffrind gorau, mi ges i swydd ar ddydd Sadwrn gyda chigydd. Bryd hynny, doedd gen i ddim diddordeb mewn gyrfa fel cigydd a dewisais ddilyn trywydd cynllunio graffeg yn y coleg. Sylweddolais yn sydyn nad oedd hynny i mi felly mi es i yn \u00f4l at y cigydd i ofyn am swydd.
