Bydd Cig Oen Cymru PGI yn llenwi’r sgrin fawr unwaith eto’r haf hwn wrth i Hybu Cig Cymru (HCC) gynnal ei ymgyrch amlgyfrwng flynyddol i hyrwyddo Cig Oen Cymru mewn cartrefi ledled Cymru a Lloegr.<\/p>\n

Yn nhrydedd ran yr ymgyrch ‘Arbenigwyr yn eu Maes’, mae HCC yn gosod ffermwyr Cymru ar flaen y gad yn eu hysbysebu. Mae ffermwyr o Ddinas Mawddwy, Lisa a Ken Markham, yn ymddangos yn hysbyseb deledu HCC sy’n rhedeg am sawl mis ar sianeli S4C a Sky, tra bod Emily Jones o Geredigion a Ben ac Ethan Williams o Gaerdydd yn ymddangos yn agweddau digidol yr ymgyrch.<\/p>\n

Mae ‘Arbenigwr ar y maes’ ychwanegol wedi ymuno \u00e2’r ymgyrch eleni, sef cyn-chwaraewr rygbi Cymru a’r Llewod Prydeinig, Jonathan ‘Fox’ Davies. Yn ogystal \u00e2 bod yn rhan o\u2019r cynnwys cyfryngau cymdeithasol, ymunodd Jonathan hefyd \u00e2 HCC ar eu stondin yn Sioe Frenhinol Cymru yn gynharach eleni. \u00a0Wrth siarad am gael ei benodi\u2019n llysgennad brand i Gig Oen Cymru, dywedodd Jonathan:<\/p>\n

\u201cFel Cymro balch, a rhywun sy\u2019n dwlu ar ei fwyd, mae\u2019n wych bod yn gweithio gyda Chig Oen Cymru. Rwy\u2019n gwybod pa mor bwysig yw treftadaeth ffermio i\u2019n cymunedau gwledig a\u2019r rhan y mae\u2019n ei chwarae wrth gadw\u2019r economi a\u2019r cymunedau\u2019n fyw.<\/p>\n

\u201cFel rhywun sydd wedi teithio llawer gyda rygbi, rydw i wedi gweld sut mae Cig Oen Cymru\u2019n cael ei barchu ledled y byd. Gyda iechyd a ffitrwydd hefyd yn bwysig i fi, rwy\u2019n edrych ymlaen at ddangos nad yw cael diet iach a chytbwys, gyda bwyd fel Cig Oen Cymru, yn golygu gorfod cyfaddawdu ar ansawdd na blas.<\/p>\n

Dywedodd Arweinydd Ymrwymiad Brand HCC, Pip Gill: \u00a0\u201cMae ein hymgyrch Arbenigwyr yn eu Maes wedi taro nodyn da gyda chynulleidfaoedd ledled Cymru a Lloegr ac wedi gwneud lles o ran sut mae pobl yn ystyried dulliau ffermio yng Nghymru yn ogystal \u00e2 Chig Oen Cymru fel cynnyrch.<\/p>\n

\u201cRydym wrth ein bodd bod Jonathan yn ymuno \u00e2 ni fel llysgennad brand eleni. Yr un fath \u00e2\u2019n ffermwyr, mae Jonathan yn arbenigwr yn ei faes ac fel Cig Oen Cymru, mae ganddo enw da ledled y byd. Rydym yn edrych ymlaen at weithio gydag ef dros y misoedd nesaf wrth i ni hyrwyddo Cig Oen Cymru.\u201d<\/p>\n
