{"id":6372,"date":"2026-04-20T09:49:27","date_gmt":"2026-04-20T09:49:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/meatpromotion.wales\/?p=6372"},"modified":"2026-04-20T10:12:08","modified_gmt":"2026-04-20T10:12:08","slug":"ffermydd-da-byw-o-gymru-yn-ymuno-a-phrosiect-peilot-amgylcheddol-arloesol","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/meatpromotion.wales\/cy\/newsroom\/ffermydd-da-byw-o-gymru-yn-ymuno-a-phrosiect-peilot-amgylcheddol-arloesol\/","title":{"rendered":"Ffermydd da byw o Gymru yn ymuno \u00e2 phrosiect peilot amgylcheddol arloesol"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Mae wyth fferm ddefaid a gwartheg b\u00eeff flaengar ar draws Cymru wedi\u2019u dewis i ddechrau ar daith uchelgeisiol i fesur effaith amgylcheddol eu busnesau fel rhan o brosiect cenedlaethol cyffrous.<\/p>\n<p>Maen nhw\u2019n cynrychioli diwydiant cig coch Cymru ym mhrosiect <em>Peilot Llinell Sylfaen yr Amgylchedd <\/em>&#8211; menter gydweithredol rhwng byrddau ardoll y DU, wedi\u2019i arwain gan AHDB gyda chefnogaeth gan Hybu Cig Cymru (HCC) a QMS.<\/p>\n<p>Bwriad y gwaith yw arddangos r\u00f4l hanfodol amaethyddiaeth, nid yn unig o ran cynhyrchu bwyd, ond o ran gwarchod yr amgylchedd &#8211; o leihau allyriadau nwyon t\u0177 gwydr ac adeiladu stociau carbon i wella iechyd y pridd a chefnogi bioamrywiaeth.<\/p>\n<p>Dewiswyd y ffermydd o Gymru yn seiliedig ar ffactorau\u2019n ymwneud \u00e2 lleoliad daearyddol, topograffi, y math o bridd a systemau ffermio. Roedden nhw\u2019n ymuno \u00e2 gr\u0175p mwy o 170 o ffermydd ar draws Lloegr a\u2019r Alban, ynghyd \u00e2 ffermwyr llaeth ac \u00e2r yng Nghymru.<\/p>\n<p>Dyma\u2019r wyth sy\u2019n rhan o\u2019r peilot:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Alwyn Phillips, Caernarfon<\/li>\n<li>Andrew Edwards, Nelson<\/li>\n<li>Catrin George, Brechfa<\/li>\n<li>Haulwen Jones, Blaenau Ffestiniog<\/li>\n<li>Huw a Daniel Owen, Pen-y-bont Fawr<\/li>\n<li>Keri a Julie Daves, Aberhonddu<\/li>\n<li>Peter Morris, Penfro<\/li>\n<li>Stephen a Lisa Harwick, Llandrindod Wells<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Mae gweithgareddau samplo a sganio wedi digwydd eisoes ar y ffermydd i fesur allyriadau nwyon t\u0177 gwydr, stociau carbon yn y pridd a\u2019r tirlun. Mae hyn yn cynnwys samplu\u2019r carbon yn y pridd hyd at 1m o ddyfnder a sganio LiDAR, yn ogystal ag archwilio carbon a chreu cynlluniau gweithredu unigryw ar gyfer pob fferm.<\/p>\n<p>Meddai Dr Eleri Thomas, Swyddog Gweithredol Effeithiolrwydd a Chynaliadwyedd y Diwydiant yn HCC: \u201cRydym ni\u2019n falch i gefnogi\u2019r peilot cyffrous hwn a chefnogi cynhyrchwyr cig coch wrth iddynt gymryd camau breision i gwblhau asesiad sylfaenol a deall effaith amgylcheddol eu busnesau\u2019n well.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBwriad y gwaith yw creu set ddata cenedlaethol, yn dangos amrediad ac amrywiaeth y canlyniadau o ffermydd unigol, ac i alluogi\u2019r diwydiant i symud oddi wrth ffigyrau cenedlaethol a rhyngwladol cyfartalog. Bydd y data yn help i arddangos manteision amgylcheddol go iawn y diwydiant amaeth a chynnig darlun mwy cywir o\u2019i sefyllfa a\u2019i gynnydd tuag at Sero Net.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Yn ddiweddar, cyhoeddodd HCC gynllun gweithredu strategol newydd &#8211; <em>Gweledigaeth y Diwydiant Cig Coch: Darparu Gwerth i Gymru &#8211; <\/em>sy\u2019n amlinellu tri maes blaenoriaeth i\u2019r sefydliad. Mae Blaenoriaeth 2 yn edrych ar ddatblygu ac arwain ar y gwaith o weithredu mentrau sy\u2019n gwella cynaliadwyedd economaidd ac amgylcheddol.<\/p>\n<p>Ychwanegodd Dr Thomas: \u201cEr mwyn sicrhau dyfodol llewyrchus a chynaliadwy i ddiwydiant cig coch Cymru, mae\u2019n hanfodol cydbwyso perfformiad economaidd \u00e2 stiwardiaeth amgylcheddol. Mae HCC wedi ymrwymo i fesur perfformiad amgylcheddol ac economaidd y sefyllfa bresennol a sicrhau gwelliannau drwy gydweithio \u00e2\u2019r diwydiant.
