Anogir cynhyrchwyr cig coch sy\u2019n chwilio am opsiynau gwell ar gyfer porfa gynhyrchiol a gwydn i gael gafael ar gopi o\u2019r Rhestrau Glaswellt a Meillion Cymeradwy (RGCL) sydd newydd eu cyhoeddi.<\/p>\n

Bydd cop\u00efau caled o\u2019r cyhoeddiad ar gael i\u2019w casglu o stondin Hybu Cig Cymru (HCC) yn Nigwyddiad Tir Glas y Sioe Frenhinol ddydd Gwener nesaf, 12 Mehefin, a gynhelir ar Fferm Cwmbrynich, Pontsenni.<\/p>\n

Mae un ar ddeg o amrywiaethau newydd o laswellt a meillion wedi\u2019u hychwanegu at rifyn 2026 o\u2019r rhestr, gan gynnig opsiynau gwell i ffermwyr cig eidion, defaid a llaeth ar gyfer porfa gynhyrchiol a gwydn. Mae\u2019r ychwanegiadau eleni yn cynnwys rhygwelltau Eidalaidd hybrid a lluosflwydd, yn ogystal \u00e2 meillion coch diploid newydd. Mae tri math pellach o lws\u00e9rn hefyd wedi\u2019u hychwanegu at y rhestr ddisgrifiadol.<\/p>\n

Er mwyn sicrhau lle ar y rhestr, mae\u2019n rhaid i amrywiaethau arddangos gwelliant clir mewn nodweddion allweddol megis cynnyrch, ansawdd ac ymwrthedd i glefydau. Dim ond cyfran fach sy\u2019n cyrraedd y safon bob blwyddyn, gan bwysleisio cryfder yr ychwanegiadau diweddaraf.<\/p>\n

Meddai Russ Thomas, Rheolwr Cynaliadwyedd ac Effeithlonrwydd y Diwydiant yn HCC: \u201cRydym yn edrych ymlaen at fynychu\u2019r Digwyddiad Tir Glas wythnos nesaf ac at ymgysylltu \u00e2 thalwyr ardoll ar brosiectau ac ymchwil HCC sy\u2019n ceisio gwella cynaliadwyedd economaidd ac amgylcheddol y diwydiant. Os hoffech gael copi am ddim o\u2019r Rhestr Cymeradwy, neu elwa ar gymorth ymarferol, technegol ac ariannol tuag at ddefnyddio offer genetig blaengar fel rhan o Gam 2 Prosiect Geneteg Defaid Cymru, byddem yn falch o\u2019ch gweld chi yno.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bydd y digwyddiad hefyd yn gyfle i glywed am gynlluniau HCC a\u2019r gwaith o wireddu ei gynllun gweithredu strategol newydd \u2013 Gweledigaeth y Diwydiant Cig Coch: Darparu Gwerth i Gymru<\/em>. Bydd y Prif Weithredwr, Jos\u00e9 Peralta, yn amlinellu blaenoriaethau\u2019r corff ardoll mewn trafodaeth banel o\u2019r enw \u2018Porfa i\u2019r Pl\u00e2t: Dyfodol Cig Eidion a Chig Oen Cymru\u2019, a gynhelir am 2:15yp fel rhan o\u2019r Twlc Trafod.<\/p>\n
