Gwahoddir ffermwyr o bob rhan o Gymru i ymuno \u00e2 busnes ffermio arloesol a Hybu Cig Cymru (HCC) ar gyfer gweithdy Grasscheck arbennig.<\/p>\n

Cynhelir y gweithdy ddydd Iau 22 Chwefror 2024 ym Mhenmaen Bach ger Machynlleth, lle mae Richard Rees a\u2019i frawd Huw Llyr yn rhedeg fferm 90 hectar, ac yn pori diadell o 400 o famogiaid croes Aberfield sy\u2019n cael hyrddod Abermax.<\/p>\n

Ers dwy flynedd, mae\u2019r fferm wedi bod yn rhan o fenter Grasscheck GB sydd wedi darparu data a chymorth amhrisiadwy i\u2019r busnes. Nod y teulu yw pesgi\u2019r holl \u0175yn oddi ar borfa\u00a0 ar system bori cylchdro sydd hefyd yn cynnwys sicori a maglys. Mae’r fferm yn ceisio cadw costau mor isel \u00e2 phosib drwy roi pwyslais ar gynhyrchu porfa a defnyddio gwreiddlysiau yn y gaeaf.<\/p>\n

Yn ymuno \u00e2\u2019r gweithdy bydd yr ymgynghorydd Andy King a fydd yn rhannu dadansoddiad o ddata pori\u2019r fferm y tymor hwn ac yn esbonio sut mae\u2019r data\u2019n helpu wrth wneud penderfyniadau.<\/p>\n

Dywedodd Pennaeth Cynaliadwyedd a Pholisi\u2019r Dyfodol yn HCC, Rachael Madeley-Davies: \u201cMae\u2019r hyn a wnaed eisoes yma ym Mhenmaen Bach yn rhoi syniad da iawn o\u2019r hyn y gallwn ei gyflawni os cymerwn fantais lawn o\u2019r data. Rhaid i\u2019n diwydiant a\u2019n harferion ffermio esblygu os ydym am aros ar y blaen ac arwain y ffordd o ran cael busnesau fferm arloesol, cynaliadwy a phroffidiol. Byddwn yn annog unrhyw un sy\u2019n tyfu\u2019r adnodd gwerthfawr hwn i ymuno \u00e2\u2019r diwrnod gwybodaeth a dysgu am y prosiect a\u2019r manteision y gall eu rhoi i\u2019w menter ffermio eu hunain.\u201d<\/p>\n
