Inflation and high farm input costs continue to challenge the agricultural sector, impacting profitability and complicating decision-making for Welsh farmers. To better understand these issues, Hybu Cig Cymru – Meat Promotion Wales (HCC) surveyed Welsh farming businesses in September 2022, 2023, and 2024 and is now inviting farmers across Wales to participate in a fourth survey.

HCC’s Glesni Phillips, Intelligence, Analysis and Business Insight Executive said: “Your views are vital for this research. By completing our short 10-minute survey and sharing your plans on the future of your farming business, you will help us to assess current challenges which will be useful to guide future discussions. You will also be entered into a free prize draw with a chance of winning a £50 meat voucher.”

The survey closes on Monday 29 September 2025. Click here to open the survey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/phase4ENG
