Welsh red meat promotion body Hybu Cig Cymru – Meat Promotion Wales (HCC) has been sharing its latest resources with teachers and educators at the recent National Education Show held in Llandudno.

Representatives from HCC engaged with teachers and industry professionals to share some of their food and farming classroom resources such as their recipe book Cegin Ni / Our Kitchen and highlight their dedicated bilingual red meat education hub: www.redmeathub.wales

HCC’s Consumer Executive Elwen Roberts, who leads on HCC’s health and education work, commented: “Engaging with teachers and educational professionals has been an important aim for HCC in order to ensure that teachers have factual, evidence-based resources when it comes to red meat.

“Food and farming are woven into the curriculum through a variety of subjects and we work to ensure that teachers have the right information about diet and health, and farming in Wales. We received a great response at the National Education Show and were thrilled to share our free resources with teachers.”
