{"id":5149,"date":"2025-05-20T15:55:28","date_gmt":"2025-05-20T15:55:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/meatpromotion.wales\/?p=5149"},"modified":"2025-05-21T11:19:09","modified_gmt":"2025-05-21T11:19:09","slug":"hcc-seeks-industry-input-for-future-vision","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/meatpromotion.wales\/en\/newsroom\/hcc-seeks-industry-input-for-future-vision\/","title":{"rendered":"HCC seeks industry input for future vision"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Red meat levy board Hybu Cig Cymru \u2013 Meat Promotion Wales (HCC) is seeking levy-payers\u2019 views to help shape the industry\u2019s future strategic direction.<\/p>\n<p>An online survey becomes live this week [20 May] to capture the views of levy payers and help inform HCC\u2019s new Vision 2030 \u2013 an important strategic document that sets the organisation\u2019s priorities in supporting the red meat industry for the next four years.<\/p>\n<h4>The survey will be open until Friday 25 July. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.surveymonkey.com\/r\/LWZR8FP\">Click here to open the survey<\/a>.<\/h4>\n<p>HCC Chief Executive Jos\u00e9 Peralta said: \u201cHCC\u2019s strategic purpose, underpinned by the Red Meat Industry (Wales) Measure 2010, comes from its vision document. As we look towards the culmination of the current vision, we must also plan for the next. I have met with a number of key stakeholder groups in recent weeks to start this important discussion. The survey is the next step to gather industry views on the industry\u2019s challenges and priorities, and what HCC can do to support it.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur survey will form part of a wider engagement plan delivered throughout 2025, which will include meetings and HCC attendance at livestock markets and events, the first being NSA Welsh Sheep this week [Wednesday 21 May] at Tregoyd Farm, Brecon. We would ask levy payers to come and talk to us at forthcoming events, or fill the online survey to make your views heard.
