{"id":5647,"date":"2025-09-29T11:48:06","date_gmt":"2025-09-29T11:48:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/meatpromotion.wales\/?p=5647"},"modified":"2025-09-29T11:48:06","modified_gmt":"2025-09-29T11:48:06","slug":"hcc-take-welsh-lamb-and-welsh-beef-to-anuga-trade-fair","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/meatpromotion.wales\/en\/newsroom\/hcc-take-welsh-lamb-and-welsh-beef-to-anuga-trade-fair\/","title":{"rendered":"HCC take Welsh Lamb and Welsh Beef to Anuga trade fair"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>PGI Welsh Lamb and PGI Welsh Beef will be presented to international buyers and importers as Welsh red meat levy body Hybu Cig Cymru \u2013 Meat Promotion Wales (HCC) prepares to attend the renowned food and drink trade show \u2013 Anuga.<\/p>\n<p>Taking place in Cologne between 4<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0and 8<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0October, HCC will be attending the trade show in conjunction with Welsh exporters.<\/p>\n<p>Anuga takes place biennially and brings together food and drink manufactures and buyers from across the world. Visitor numbers exceed 140,000 from over 200 countries.<\/p>\n<p>HCC\u2019s Market Development Lead, Jason Craig, commented:<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cExport markets remain an important avenue to the Welsh red meat sector. We are seeing demand for Welsh Lamb and Welsh Beef across Europe and beyond as customers seek increased volumes of high quality and sustainable red meat products.
