More recently, export performance has strengthened.<\/li>\n<li>Export values have remained firm throughout 2025, supported by elevated farmgate prices and the ability of UK exporters to meet consistent overseas demand, especially in EU markets.<\/li>\n<li>A global shortage of beef has strengthened the UK\u2019s competitiveness and ability to meet the increasing demand for high-quality product.<\/li>\n<li>Domestic consumer demand for beef remains more subdued.
