With special occasions such as International Women’s Day (8 March) and Mothering Sunday (10 March) on the horizon, Hybu Cig Cymru – Meat Promotion Wales (HCC) has launched a special set of recipes to accompany its consumer engagement campaign - How far is your fork from our porc?

The campaign aims to raise awareness of the availability, benefits and propensity to purchase Porc Blasus to a Wales-based consumer audience.

HCC’s Campaigns Executive Philippa Gill said:

“International Women’s Day and Mother’s Day are great opportunities to celebrate the amazing women in our lives and the campaign features some mouthwatering recipes using the finest ingredients including roast porc loin and slow roasted belly porc.

“It reminds consumers that by choosing Porc Blasus, they’re not only treating loved ones to a special meal, but also supporting the local farmers and businesses that produce our pork.”

Porc Blasus is sourced from small-scale farms, where pigs are reared in natural conditions and fed a balanced diet.

Through the campaign HCC is actively helping people find and source their pork locally, wherever they are in Wales.
